A selection of UHV (Ultra High Vacuum) and oxygen or chemical vapor environment heaters can be adapted to the SMR sample mount. WARNING* Operations involving enriched oxygen environments can be hazardous, including explosive. Many materials commonly considered non-hazardous become dangerous in such environments. Simple mechanical pumps using oil can explode, putting both personnel and equipment at great risk. Many other common materials will react violently to oxygen. The SHQ series heater has not been tested in enriched oxygen environments and is not intended for that use. We recommend systems utilizing enriched oxygen environments be undertaken only by those properly skilled to perform such operations in a safe and cautious manner. /SHQ Radiant Quartz Lamp Heater* Maximum temperature: 700°C continuous heating with 1,000°C peak For 2" O.D.
